We are looking for cover in 3 different groups which could be made into 1 position for the right candidate. Funding for these posts will run until June 2024 with the hope of an extension (dependant on funding).
Sessional Youth Workers: 1 X 1.5 hours per week, 1 X 2 hours per week and 2 X 4.5hours per week (term time only).
The Sessional Youth Workers will be working directly with young people aged 8+ in youth clubs based in Prudhoe.
Experience in working with young people is essential and a Youth Work qualification is desirable.
- We are looking for 1 youth worker to work 1.5 hours per week at our Lego Club on Monday’s 6:45pm-8:15pm (term time only) **
- We require 1 youth worker to work 2 hours per week at our Senior Youth Club on Tuesday’s 6:15pm-8:15pm (term time only)**
- We require 2 youth workers to work 4.5 hours per week for our Girls Group and Junior Youth Club which takes place on Wednesday’s 5:00pm-9:30pm (term time only). **
Candidates applying for the above positions will need to be flexible and will be asked to work some weekends and school holidays.
Casual Sessional Youth Workers to work on an adhoc basis
These positions will be to cover holidays, sickness, and additional projects term time and in school holidays.
Experience in working with young people is essential and a Youth Work qualification is desirable. 20+ hours will be available annually term time, weekends, and school holidays.
The pay-scale for all Sessional Youth Worker Positions will be £12/£13 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. All job offers with Prudhoe Youth Project are conditional on satisfactory DBS check and references.
